Interesting article... is Reitmann as much of a SOB as this article would have you think? 68.110.238.175 (talk) 02:11, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please note: the purpose of an article's talk pages is for discussing how to improve the article. As such, I noted the St. Louis Post-Dispatch article on Kevin Renick since it could be cited regarding promotion of the film in Japan. --Dan Dassow (talk) 12:20, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality of Reitman[edit]

A recent edit] added the nationality of both Jason Reitman and Ivan Reitman. Although, both are Canadian-American filmmakers, I am not certain whether this is relevant to the article. The MOS:FILM does not appear to provide guidance. I would appreciate thoughts from people supporting Wikipedia:WikiProject_Films regarding this matter. --Dan Dassow (talk) 17:18, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ryan Bingham's closing speech[edit]

Ryan Bingham's speech at the end of the film provides insight into the closing of the film. Other editors and I believe this is relevant to the plot summary.

Tonight most people will be welcomed home by jumping dogs and squealing kids. Their spouses will ask about their day. Tonight they'll sleep. The stars will wheel forth from their daytime hiding places, and one of those lights, slightly brighter than the rest, will be my wingtip passing over.

Ryan's speech at the end of the film

To call this drama, well, maybe, but to refer to it in any way as 'comedy' is a travesty and a lie. This practice of 'the downsizing industry' is a crime commissioned by the most criminal for cash and praise of the most mercenary and least scrupulous, and should be punished as such. 92.176.83.212 (talk) 09:33, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Huge Release section[edit]

I think the release section, which is of no interest to me, at any rate, is vast for an article like this. I suggest no more than a couple of lines and delete the rest. While I'm here, production is also bloated. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.21.165.191 (talk) 11:18, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
