Number Ones[edit]

Is there an list of all the Network Chart Show number-ones? 197.89.10.108 (talk) 15:10, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Up until July 1993 the Network Chart was provided by MRIB and their charts, singles and albums, can be found in back issues of NME and Melody Maker which are archived in the British Library and can be pulled off the shelf without having to place an order. After July 1993 the Network Chart which was broadcast on the radio was provided by Spotlight and although MRIB's chart continued in NME and Melody Maker it was no longer referred to as the Network Chart. Sometime in 1995 NME and Melody Maker started using the OCC chart. QuintusPetillius (talk) 16:47, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Something more like this, Quinty...[1]. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.87.135.50 (talk) 08:21, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What on earth are you talking about that's the OCC chart and is available everywhere! QuintusPetillius (talk) 17:22, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you should depart this discussion then. The point, obviously, was is there a similar list to that occ chart. One with the Network/MRIB chart. And, if not, could/should one be made... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.87.135.50 (talk) 18:41, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think you are missing the point. Someone asked for a list of number ones for the Network Chart and I pointed them in the right direction. QuintusPetillius (talk) 18:43, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
YOU are missing the point. "Pointed them in the right direction"? NME and MM both only used MRIB chart from May 1988. So, there's 3-4 YEARS before that. Not to mention all the 21st century charts. You also completely misunderstood the point of the OCC post. Should wiki have a similar list to the OCC Number One Singles article, and article with all the MRIB/Network Chart Show/Pepsi Number One singles? I honestly don't see how your posts have benefitted this discussion. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.87.135.50 (talk) 19:12, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A lot more than yours. Maybe you need to learn some basic English skills before trying to edit Wikipedia. QuintusPetillius (talk) 19:53, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ironic. But here [2]. Don't know how "reliable" that is though... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 197.89.19.39 (talk) 10:57, 5 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
