Fair use rationale for Image:LogoGIA.jpg[edit]

Image:LogoGIA.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:16, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

GIA Historical Training Program: Edit War?[edit]

I have noticed with this article is that a particular user keeps re-inserting details about GIA's First Officer Training Program, only for it to be removed a few days later by another Editor, and that this article is close to being in an "Edit War" state.

My view is that whilst the details on the First Officer Training Program may be true, currently it appears to be Original Research, with a lack of any appropriate references cited. Unless the editor can provide verifiable facts, and reference appropriate external material, I am inclined to remove these edits, whether they be true or not.

My first option would have been to contact the Editor in question to try to resolve the dispute edits, the problem is he/she keeps logging in anonymously with a different IP all the time, and I can only hope that they either get a Wikipedia Account (and Talk Page) or read this Article's Discussion area.--NiceDoge (talk) 03:57, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy[edit]

I think it's worth mentioning that the most recent American airplane disasters involved Gulfstream pilots. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.65.79.84 (talk) 12:57, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are sources that say that, so that actually belongs in the article. WhisperToMe (talk) 03:30, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The Controversy page seems muddled (there's no sense of proper chronology), and is trying to deal with multiple issues which should be separated. The recently publicized FAA findings are not dealt with in depth. Much of the section deals with 10-12 year information, some of which has no clear connection to Gulfstream and is undocumented. I'll try to sort it out. Liquid Egg Product (talk) 18:19, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gulfstream Training Academy[edit]

Should Gulfstream Training Academy get its own page? Liquid Egg Product (talk) 18:23, 10 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Gulfstream International Airlines and Gulfstream Trainning Academy are separate companies. I think people who do not agree with the business that Gulfstream Training Academy is doing can get thier own page but involve Gulfstream Airlines is not just and miss leading —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.115.24.146 (talk) 21:10, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There is a very clear and distintive diference between and Airliner and it's alliances. There is no difference between Contintal being Guflstream Airlines alliance partner vs Having Gulfstream Training Academy as its partner also. It is also clear that some people do not agree with the Gulfstream Training Academy for many reason, but that is not reason enough to put taht literature on Gulfstream Airlines page. Independent Airline[edit]

On June 8, 2013, Silver Airways operates as an independent carrier for flights in Florida and the Bahamas only while flights from Dulles and Cleveland will continue to operate as a "United Express" carrier as per http://www.united.com/CMS/en-US/travel/news/Pages/travelnotices.aspx?v_ctrk=HHLN$0-772-2045-1-1156.
