Linux?[edit]

Being that all its current products run some form of Windows, is it really appropriate to have such a lenghy section on Linux? Seems like (more) astro-turfing for Linux on Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.47.86.27 (talk) 11:15, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Save the netbook campaign[edit]

I removed the link to the Save the netbooks campaign that was displayed at the top of the "Psion Teklogix and the term Netbook". In justification: the campaign has nothing directly to do with Psion as a company or the products and services it currently provides. It relates to a pending trademark challenge. The link was to a page that is extremely anti Psion and as such it seemed inappropriate and maybe even damaging to their business. They're doing a good enough job of damaging their public persona by themselves and do not need extra help.

I'm guessing they will respond if they disagree. I'd have no objection if they made the link more subtle and placed it in a less prominent place on the page - but I'm not their greatest fan and the delete key was simpler. Memsom (talk) 13:22, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I put it (Save the Netbooks into the See also section. It's related, and if a link from the text isn't appropriate, it's appropriate for the See also section.
But I question whether the article should exist at all. It seems to be an extension of the Save the Netbooks campaign itself. I don't feel strongly enough to nominate it for an afd, but others might. At best, it's extremely POV. TJRC (talk) 16:16, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
