Ikôn - hope this helps[edit]

I saw your {{construction}} tag on this article and I wondered whether you were aware that you can start an article in "user" space rather than "article" space? This has the advantage that you can make substantial progress before other editors pay much attention. You can still use the {{construction}} tag and add {{NOINDEX |visible = yes}} to prevent Google from finding it until you are ready. You were smart to put a reference on the page in your first edit: I suggest you also add an independent review (e.g. there's one at http://www.ruggedpcreview.com/3_handhelds_psion_ikon.html) a.s.a.p. It will show notability and is a useful guide when writing—you can then structure your text around what you know you can verify, which is much easier than writing a load of stuff and then having to find independent sources for it, as you can imagine. If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the GFDL or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here.

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Psion Teklogix building Mississauga.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box.
