Protection requested from edits by anonymous editors[edit]

The Massari page is being persistently vandalised tens and tens of times by four anonymous addresses that seem to be working in liaision with introducing of very similar and incorrect materials to the page. The keeping of the Massari page from such ill-intended edits is becoming very time consuming as the vandals persist in reintroducing data back almost immediately as soon as well-established editors correct the information. The ids are: 99.255.73.62 / 129.100.152.238 / 129.100.185.24 / 129.100.184.200 / 74.115.160.11 . I am requesting that a ban is imposed on all anonymous editing for a long period (I suggest 6 months) and allowing editing only by those who sign in with their duly registered names werldwayd (talk) 06:51, 6 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

As you see, the vandal is able to jump in to various outlets to introduce items of identical nature repeatedly and wasting the time of a number of editors engaging them in repeat of very similar inaccurate info about supposed films and television appearances and fictitious list of awards nominated to and actually won, none of it true. On February 9, he / she returned with yet another outlet that also had a previous record of vandalism to other pages as well, notably Chris Bosh. We can forever ban multitude accounts of the same person. Alternatively which is far better, we can suspend editing by all anonymous unsigned contributors for a period of 6 months on the Massari page werldwayd (talk) 01:18, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The same individual is also using 129.100.177.99 which is identified as an outlet of University of Western Ontario. By now more than 10 Wikipedia editors have wasted their time with persistent vandalism from a multiple of outlets. the only way this can be stopped is imposing a ban on edits from unsigned sources on the Massari page. werldwayd (talk) 00:06, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
