Untitled[edit]

I added a reference to his religious views from a TV Guide article, but the citation doesn't seem to be working properly. I've never been good at that part of Wikipedia, so I'd appreciate it if someone could fix the footnote. Parableman (talk) 22:25, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

box[edit]

CSI season 6[edit]

Can somebody tell me where in the episode "Gum Drops" (6x05) Mark appears? On which minute? I saw the episode today and didn't see him. He is not in the opening credits and the closing credits were missing. --Batman tas (talk) 19:44, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I saw the episode "Gum Drops" (6x05) three times but Mark does not appear, I'm sure. Who said Mark appears? --Ciuffettina —Preceding undated comment added 18:38, 1 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

missing info[edit]

I don't edit wiki but somebody forgot to add this is the filmography list. Joint Body is a 2011 American crime thriller film written and directed by Brian Jun and starring Mark Pellegrino and Alicia Witt. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gawdsmak (talkcontribs) 12:26, 18 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I wish to edit this page. I have info on a different occupation of his.

Not done , have a read of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:User_access_levels#Autoconfirmed_users to help you understand what you will need to gain the account standing to edit this page. MM (WhatIDo WHATIDO?) (Now THIS... I did.) 19:20, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life[edit]

Under Personal Life, it says "He is married to Tracy Aziz and stepfather of her daughter Tess." This is a bit confusing and ambiguous in that it sounds like he's married to both Tracy and to Tess' stepfather. Change it to read "He is married to Tracy Aziz and is the stepfather of her daughter Tess." It sounds less confusing if you specify it like this. But hey, that's just me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.188.151.92 (talkcontribs)

Occupation Actor/Lucifer

Not done Soooo, what are you wanting changed? This doesn't say what you want changed, it just states a profession which could mean anything to anywhere. MM (WhatIDo WHATIDO?) (Now THIS... I did.) 15:45, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

In the last sentence of the first paragraph of the 'Career' section his name is misspelled as "Pellegino." Should be "Pellegrino." 90.216.134.195 (talk) 19:15, 1 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Occupation Actor, Lucifer

Semi-protected edit request October 11 2018[edit]

His page needs to be updated to reflect the fact that he is in season 14 of Supernatural as Lucifer's vessel Nick only, though no longer as a main character. Oh and they incorporated a clip from the season premier of Sam Winchester asking Nick about the archangel Michael into a trailer for the movie Halloween. Frankly I thought it was a joke since they cut from Sam asking about Michael into the Halloween trailer and we did not yet see that Nick was still alive, but it was actually part of the episode that had not yet aired and was kinda cool to do if you ask me.--32.214.195.155 (talk) 01:33, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Oh additionally the part of his Career section talking about his time on Supernatural needs updating as well. That part only reflects his guest appearances in season 11 and makes no mention of his return in seasons 12 and 13 as a full main cast member.--32.214.195.155 (talk) 01:35, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Info[edit]

Someone just deleted a line (Pellegrino does not identify as a libertarian.) from the "Personal Life" section. Do you think the line is unnecessary? Rnagfn (talk) 16:26, 7 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Pellegrino was also in the movie "The Coverup" back in 2008. This doesn't appear in his filmography.

Tone and political views[edit]

Hi NephthysPhoenix, I noticed you reinstated some of my edits. I see you're fairly new and concerned with Pellegrini, so let's break it down. By looking at the diff, we can see what you changed.

  • Per WP:NUMBERS, we write out numbers from zero to ten, so "two sisters and three brothers" is preferred over "2 sisters and 3 brothers".
  • Because Pellegrino is a follower of Objectivism is makes perfect sense to link to Ayn Rand, but we do not have to link to Russian-American, which redirects to Russian Americans, an article about the demographic and history of ethnic group of Americans of Russian descent.
  • Periods are put before a reference, not after. So

He is a follower of Objectivism, a philosophy created by Russian-American writer Ayn Rand.

    is incorrect
  • Be mindful of a correct WP:TONE: "He was exposed to the works of Rand in his acting class by a guy from Long Island, New York." That is very informal, "a guy". But in this context, it's not needed to mention this bit at all; how Pellegrino became interested in Rand's works is hardly noteworthy, and that where it happened even less so. Linking to Long Island, like Russian-American, is unnecessary in this context
  • We don't do not use WP:CONTRACTIONs on Wikipedia, it's informal. So it should be "they have", not "they've".
  • Now, most of those tweets by Pellegrino about his political views are not necessary, because it's a WP:MINORASPECT. Pellegrino's an actor, his political leanings are not that important here. Same goes for a politician's favorite films, not notable to mention. The way it's presented is pushing WP:neutral point of view: "He is a co-founder of The American Capitalist Party (...) which is a refuge for those who want a party away from the main three party system in the United States" is stated matter-of-factly, a more nuanced way would be "He is a co-founder of The American Capitalist Party (...) which Pellegrino considers a refuge for those who want a party away from the main three party system in the United States." A small change, but it makes a difference.

I'll leave it up to you to incorporate the changes into the article. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks, and happy editing. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 08:02, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I think I fixed everything. Sorry, your edits are still amazing! His wiki was in terrible shape, and all the CC is welcomed. Wiki's a lot to learn! If you see anything else feel free to correct or add or whatever (sorry, if it came off as only I was allowed to post I do apologize).
I wish there was something to do about the profile photo needing an update. Any tips on that?
Thanks for the help! NephthysPhoenix (talk) 10:42, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This makes total sense! Thanks for the constructive criticism and yes still new. His page was a complete mess and had to do a major overhaul. I thought the story was interesting to show how he got into objectivism. I’ll fix all that with your recommendations. Thanks for the patience. NephthysPhoenix (talk) 10:30, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi NephthysPhoenix, thank you for your understanding and changing the article. But you know, on second thought, maybe his political leanings can be expanded a bit. He's the co-founder of a political party after all, it would make sense to elaborate on that (just not with the informal tone of course!). Wikipedia can be overwhelming at first, most definitely. If you like it here and want to help out more, there are collaborative WP:WikiProjects, in which likeminded editors try to work together on specific articles. Maybe WP:FILM or WP:ACTOR is something for you? There you can check relevant guidelines, ask advice or help improve other articles.
Now, concerning images, I'm not too familiar with those, but there's WP:IMAGE to help get you started. Again, feel free to ask any questions you might have. I'll be sure to check this talk page in the following days, otherwise you can notify me (or another editor for that matter) by use the template "username here". Thanks, and happy editing. soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 15:44, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Np! I love learning how to work this site, and it's been a really huge experience for me. There's a lot. As for the political leanings that would be a good idea! It'll be a bit and I plant to split his filmography at some point to make things easier on people who don't want to scroll through one giant table for a single category. Those categories do look like something I be interested in. Thank you!
Thanks! I'll definitely check there. I'll kepe the username code in mind too.
Thank you again for all the help! NephthysPhoenix (talk) 16:15, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Early Life[edit]

He went to a Notre Dame High School. Through this school he started to study the act of respecting.

This is not supported by the given citation. In the linked video, he says that he learned to "respect...the act of studying and learning." not to "study the act of respecting" I'm hesitant to make an edit as I'm very new to editing Wikipedia. My temptation would be to remove the second statement altogether, as it seems like irrelevant rhetoric.
