GA Review[edit]

Looking good. Here are some suggestions for improving the article:

  • 30 Rock was first broadcast on was first broadcast on December 13, 2007, on the NBC network in the United States - repetition here; also don't need the comma after "2007".
  • Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan) is ordered, by a court, to wear an alcohol monitoring device - don't need the commas.
  • her flight, from Florida, being grounded by Hurricane Zapato - don't need the commas.
  • Jack and his mother immediately dislike the Lemon's - "Lemons" as a plural.
  • Jack, Colleen and The Lemons spend the day - "the Lemons" should be uncapitalised.
  • Mitch that he is in fact 40-years-old - use "40 years old" or "a 40-year-old".
  • No need to link individual years; this applies to 1985 after The Goonies reference.
  • Ludachristmas party, in the writer's room - don't need the comma.
  • recent order from the courts - "the courts" seems a little vague and maybe not right. Maybe something like "a jury" or "a courtroom judge"?
  • Can we left-align Image:Tina Fey filming "Episode 209" of 30 Rock edited.jpg? In my browser it has to sit beneath the infobox so there's a big gap under the Plot section because the image is holding it down under the infobox.
  • Link United States dollar in "US$390".
  • This episode is also notable for being officially unnamed - hmm. I think "notable" is the wrong word here. The preceding point about Tracy Morgan's DUI charges does not make the episode notable (ruling out the "also" here) and not having a name doesn't either. Either reword or simply say something like "The episode was never officially named".
  • Human Table at the Ludachristmas Party - "party" should be uncapitalised for consistency with previous usage.
  • tied, with the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "Lying Down With Dogs" which aired on CBS, for first place amoung men - get rid of both the commas and and maybe move "CBS" to the front reading "with CBS's CSI ... episode ... for first place"; also, "among" is misspelt.
  • Place "true meaning of Christmas" in 'single quotation marks' as its a quote-in-a-quote.
  • he did say "The A story - uncapitalise "the".
  • modern, irreverent look at [christmas] - capitalise "Christmas"; it's a proper noun.
  • No full-stop/period after the featured music parameter in the infobox.

That's pretty much it. The article will be on hold for a week so good luck with making the changes. —97198 (talk) 07:45, 21 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for making the changes, but looks like there are still a few outstanding (a few you missed from above and one or two I may have just spotted):
  • Jack, Colleen and The Lemons - "and the Lemons"; they are not a collective proper noun.
  • he believes that he is still a 17 - doesn't make sense.
  • took him to see The Goonies in 1985 - don't link 1985.
  • Ludachristmas party, in the writer's room - don't need the comma.
  • It ranked in second place in the 18–49 demographic and tied, with CBS - just "it ranked second place in" (no first "in"); also don't need the comma ater "tied".
