The first reference in the article is being removed by an IP editor with a claim that it's a phishing site. The reference link is here and the phishing report is here. The report is for a specific page that was on TheLStop.org's web site at one time but is no longer there. It was posing as a Bank of America login page. Since BofA has their own site and wouldn't be sending people to TheLStop to login to their accounts, I am fairly certain that TheLStop's site was once taken over by hackers who used their site for phishing attacks.
