Mostly about racing stats, should be more about bike's development[edit]

There should be a year-by-year history of the bike's development, as there is for the its predecessors. There is too much about the riders and their statistics. There have been major changes to the engine that are not even mentioned! https://www.asphaltandrubber.com/motogp/2022-honda-rc213v/#:~:text=the%202022%2Dedition%20of%20the%20Honda%20RC213V%20is%20almost%20an%20entirely%20new%20machine%20compared%20to%20last%20year.Brainsizematters (talk) 17:49, 14 September 2022 (UTC) According to the Wikipedia page on Big-bang firing order, in 2017 the crank was changed from 360 degrees to 180! There's not a word about that here!Brainsizematters (talk) 18:18, 14 September 2022 (UTC)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Brainsizematters (talkcontribs) 18:14, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I wish I had the necessary info. I'm still looking for something I saw the other day but can't find now. There seems to be a lot going on that Honda is keeping close to the chest, but I'm pretty sure the folks who've been working on this page know more than they're telling. All those race stats seem to have been copied from the Repsol page. Brainsizematters (talk) 20:15, 14 September 2022 (UTC)Brainsizematters (talk) 20:14, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I found a source. I'll give it a try. Brainsizematters (talk) 20:57, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, me too; the UK race commentators who are ex-racers know what was happening with Honda development when Honda threw their weight into making a bike for Marc Marquez, and then it all went wrong with the serious injuries, leaving an un-rideable bike for the others. Also interesting to remember that Casey Stoner wanted to race Marquez on the same bike, and 'Mr' Honda prevented it.--Rocknrollmancer (talk) 22:33, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
