Despite my efforts (I wrote e-mails to the secretary of the Department of Mathematics of the "Université Blaise Pascal", without receiving any kind of answer, and to the French Academy of Sciences, getting some important biographical informations, thanks to the conservateur des Archives Ms. Florence Greffe) I was not able to find a photo of Georges Giraud and other biographical notices.
