  • While you're citing a 2005 book as to the Queen truly dying, it would be good to find publication information for the 1936 novelization as well.

The magic mirror and its role.[edit]

One must wonder about the mirror its power and its role. Where did Grimhilde get it from and if someone gave it to her - who and with what intent? It is with reason it has been said that it just is not true that the sweet teen Snow white should be more fair than the queen. Also: can there at all be anyone objectively the most fair of all? Does the mirror follow some agenda of its own - or of someone else? Of great interest in this context is that the queen seems to have all but abdicated her role as regent. @Interstellarity: I'm not sure about this one, as Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) may not sufficiently distinguish this character from the original Evil Queen from the Snow White fairytale. That the fairytale does not have "and the Seven Dwarfs" in its name is a technicality that most people probably don't know. Additionally, Snow White (disambiguation) lists other works called "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" which are unrelated to the Disney franchise but of course do feature the Evil Queen. Though the nom mentions consistency, I see no consistency among other Disney characters. Some are titled with (Disney) (e.g. Genie (Disney)), some are titled (Disney character) (e.g. Megara (Disney character)), others are titled by the film (e.g. Belle (Beauty and the Beast)). The article needs update about the new reboot series project[edit]

Snow White 2 / Enchaned rumors[edit]

I removed:

Early on into the project that would become the mostly live-action film Enchanted (2007), it was rumored to be a (yet untitled) direct-to-video animated sequel to Disney's Snow White in which the character that would become Queen Narissa in Enchanted was the evil Queen's sister who would kidnap six of the dwarfs to lure Snow White, the Prince, and their 13-year-old daughter Rose aided by Dopey, into a trap.[1]

Since even this private website talks about rumors.

However, these rumors are oddly plausible, since Enchaned featured the Evil Queen-like Narissa in similar role while the rumor here talks about "Noriss" which may be as the source overheard it.
