Erika & Hayden Siblings?[edit]

I removed the phrase "Her brother is actor Hayden Christensen", as the Hayden Christensen page say that his parents are Alie and David Christensen, and this article says that her parents are named Kathy and Steven Christensen. Please fix the incorrect information if I'm mistaken. -- 19:42, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Horrible photo[edit]

That picture from Tribeca 2007 is absolutely horrible. Erika is a beautiful girl, and that photo is most 100% definitely not representative of the way she actually appears in person. Or even in most other photos! Humbug! -- Ohmygoodgodalmighty (talk) 03:16, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Then get a better one. And while you're doing that, look at the contributions of the user who submitted it. You'll see that he has selflessly uploaded dozens (hundreds?) of other images for use here. So, you might want to thank him for the work that he's done. Dismas|(talk) 04:18, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia has a policy of saying even a picture of a dead person is replaceable by a free image ( I've seen a picture deleted on that basis ) so a photo can be absolute rubbish and acceptable as long as it is free .Garda40 (talk) 06:59, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Case in point: Denise Richards. --Dismas|(talk) 20:52, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that's great that he is so selfless. Does being selfless make one's work above criticism? It's a terrible image. 75.28.76.216 (talk) 23:55, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • heh- it certainly is not my best work. I bought that camera the very first day of the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, and I had never used a DSLR before. Improvement came year after year (compare 2007 with 2008 and 2009. This is certainly one of my worst from 2007, though. The philosophy behind putting up a bad image instead of no image at all is that it does give incentive for people to try to find a better, free one to use. -->David Shankbone 22:21, 21 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Six years since this acknowledgement from the photographer that he basically captured Christensen looking like someone just farted, and NOBODY has replaced it? I'm only proficient enough with Wikipedia to do simple grammar, sentence clarity, and punctuation edits, but maybe I'll expand my skills. All due credit for your contributions, Mr. Shankbone, but...DAMN!! She deserves better. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.14.154.55 (talk) 13:09, 14 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
