Opening heading[edit]

The addition of "Branding Agency" directly under the topic of "Brands" as a marketing technique may not be correct. Since the list already had an item for "Brand Management", I believe the "Branding Agency" should be listed as a subtopic of that general topic.WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:29, 5 September 2008 (UTC) WAT WILL BE DONE IN PROCESS OF MAKEETING 4P'S PRODUCT ,PRICE,PLACE,PROMOTION TOPIC MOBILE PHONES WAT CAN BE` TOPICS — Preceding unsigned comment added by 106.76.144.244 (talk) 12:05, 20 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Superstitious branding[edit]

Is there a different term for a brand used to ward off evil? If so should it be linked here.

Marketing section[edit]

Branding is defined on this page as it were the same as brand. I think it must read something like

Branding is the creation and use of a brand.

Alternatively, the noun brand can be replaced by its definition.

Branding is the creation and use of a name, colors, logo, slogan, shapes, packaging, design schemes, etc. associated with a product and/or service.

The company-level counterpart of branding is the corporate identity.
