Aurel Vlaicu glider in flight, June - July 1909

Vlaicu built one glider in Bintinti, several rubber powered models, and two engine powered airplanes i.e. A Vlaicu I and A Vlaicu II.

Of the two A Vlaicu III airplanes ordered by Marconi Company, one was completed after his death by friends. Marconi Company fabricated some of the parts needed for the two airplanes, and ordered for Vlaicu two Gnome Gamma. One of these two engines is currently on display in the National Military Museum in Bucharest.

Of the several rubber powered models Vlaicu built, one was left with the Technische Hochschule München, and two were brought with him in Bucharest for demonstrations. A fragment of these last two models is in the custody of the National Military Museum in Bucharest.
