Saral Rural District (Persian: دهستان سارال)[3] is in Saral District of Divandarreh County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] It is administered from the city of Hezar Kanian.[5]
At the National Census of 2006, its population was 6,869 in 1,336 households.[6] There were 6,406 inhabitants in 1,623 households at the following census of 2011.[7] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 5,513 in 1,386 households. The most populous of its 34 villages was Hezar Kanian (now a city),[8] with 544 people.[2]
