Pishkamar District (Persian: بخش پیش‌کمر) is in Kalaleh County, Golestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Faraghi (formerly the village of Pishkamar).[3]

After the 2006 National Census, Zavkuh Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Pishkamar District, which was divided into two rural districts.[3]

The census in 2011 counted 26,409 people in 6,529 households.[4] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 26,977 inhabitants in 7,394 households.[2]
