Kongur (Persian: كنگور)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Kongur Rural District[4] of the Central District of Kalaleh County, Golestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,464 in 339 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,449 people in 396 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,657 people in 489 households.[2]
