Nowbar (Persian: نوبار), also Romanized as Nowbār,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Il Teymur Rural District of the Central District of Bukan County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 433 in 79 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 415 people in 81 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 359 people in 111 households.[2]
