Lincoln Township is one of ten townships in Newton County, Indiana. As of the 2020 census, its population was 4,563 and it contained 1,829 housing units.[3]

Lincoln Township was established in 1872.[5]

Geography[edit]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 42.56 square miles (110.2 km2), of which 42.39 square miles (109.8 km2) (or 99.60%) is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 km2) (or 0.38%) is water.[6]
