William L. Lanier (March 17, 1927[2] – March 17, 2015), also known as Bill Lanier, was an American politician. He served as a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives.[3]
Life and career[edit]
Lanier was born in Candler County, Georgia. He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and the University of Georgia.[3]
Lanier served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 1951 to 1961.[3]
Lanier died on March 17, 2015, in Quitman, Georgia,[4] at the age of 88.
