Schools for Deletion[edit]

Do you think its worth adding Australian schools currently up for deletion? I notice St Peter's Woodlands Grammar is currently being considered. Or would that require too much maintenance? Loopla 02:21, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You may add it, i will be adding school articles nomd for deletion when i see them. Twenty Years 08:17, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

{{AusEd}}[edit]

Why not just get added to {{WP Australia}} and then you can use all the standard features of this? Or at least give it a more normal name, like {{WP EiA}} or {{WP AusEd}}? I *may* be able to help with bot article tagging from cats if you want it. :: maelgwn - talk 12:24, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've made the necessary edits to have this project function under the WP:AUS project. To assign articles to your project, use {{WP Australia|education=yes}} or {{WP Australia|edu=yes}} if you're the kind who likes to save on keystrokes. -- Longhair\talk 02:01, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A new proposal for a guideline of naming conventions for schools is now been proposed. I would welcome your comments and input on it at WT:NC(S). We do need some comments from those involved in Australian schools before consensus for acceptance can be achieved. Camaron1 | Chris 20:15, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Milestone Announcements[edit]

Announcements
  • All WikiProjects are invited to have their "milestone-reached" announcements automatically placed onto Wikipedia's announcements page.
  • Milestones could include the number of FAs, GAs or articles covered by the project.
  • No work need be done by the project themselves; they just need to provide some details when they sign up. A bot will do all of the hard work.

I thought this WikiProject might be interested. Ping me with any specific queries or leave them on the page linked to above. Thanks! - Jarry1250 (t, c) 21:49, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

School Mergers and Articles.[edit]

What is the current policy regarding school mergers and their articles?
Should the pre-merger school articles be removed and just redirected to the merged school's article? Or should the pre-merger school articles be reworded to reflect the past tense and have a link to the merged school's article? See Heatherhill Secondary College and Keysborough Secondary College. Coordinators' working group[edit]

Hi! I'd like to draw your attention to the new WikiProject coordinators' working group, an effort to bring both official and unofficial WikiProject coordinators together so that the projects can more easily develop consensus and collaborate. This group has been created after discussion regarding possible changes to the A-Class review system, and that may be one of the first things discussed by interested coordinators.

All designated project coordinators are invited to join this working group. If your project hasn't formally designated any editors as coordinators, but you are someone who regularly deals with coordination tasks in the project, please feel free to join as well. — Delievered by §hepBot (Disable) on behalf of the WikiProject coordinators' working group at 05:19, 28 February 2009 (UTC) [reply]
