Using a preexisting account that has no articles published for Kateb Maktub 2022 competition[edit]

I had a preexisting account on Wikipedia which I made about a month ago but did not have any published articles or edits. Can I use this for the competition or should I make a new account? KingRamenXIV (talk) 09:39, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello of course you can use it, regards Reda Kerbouche (talk) 10:30, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Participants' Categories[edit]

I have had my account for 4 months now, but I only have two Arabic articles published unrelated to the competition. Would I still be part of the experts' category considering that I did create my account 4 months ago? Larasabri401 (talk) 12:49, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, click on your Special:Preferences if you see in Number of edits more then 500 edits so you are an expert. Reda Kerbouche (talk) 09:13, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Size of Article[edit]

Considering that articles need to meet specific sizes, where do we refer to in order to check the current size we reached? Larasabri401 (talk) 10:27, 18 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

adding authors or books to the lists is it allowed?[edit]

some users added new authors to the list and i made articles belong to these authors, is that legal due to the rules of the competition? Mossab92 (talk) 04:23, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yea, like me, when i am sure about the person notablity. Ruwaym (talk) 11:23, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
