William Lowrie[edit]

Just spotted a biography for William Lowrie, Lincoln's third director (1901–1908). He was an Australian and has a bio of decent length. Although, his time in New Zealand is mentioned in half a sentence; how typical! Schwede66 19:10, 10 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Found another one; you wouldn't have known that Lloyd Evans was a Kiwi reading his 'Australian bio'. Schwede66 07:49, 22 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

List of buildings[edit]

There are dozens of articles in the lists of university and college buildings category and I wonder whether we should have an article like this for Lincoln, too. Schwede66 00:28, 11 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My feeling is each of the buildings on campus could do with its own article, at which point a list would be useful, but maybe first we write a stand-alone article on all the buildings, basically an expanded version of the Buildings section on the Lincoln article. —Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 05:36, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Photographs by Ron C. Blackmore[edit]

Just documenting how far I've got with this category: photo 7484. Not much more to tidy up. Schwede66 04:06, 14 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Finished. Schwede66 06:41, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Fabulous. There are bulk fixes of broken or incorrect URLs to do, which might be handled by bots, but at this stage now it's checking dates and narrowing them down based on published information, and confirming identities of people. We can also use CropTool to generate mugshot-sized crops of various people and attach them to Wikidata. Great job. —Giantflightlessbirds (talk) 05:38, 16 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
