Comment. {{8TeamBracket-Consols}} lacks the thicker borders featured in the three nominees that are employed to help the "main" rounds stand out. I believe this is a great visual feature to instantly highlight the difference between the main and consolation rounds. I therefore propose either keeping the nominees or altering {{8TeamBracket-Consols}} to adopt the thicker borders. – TurboGUY (talk) 17:29, 30 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@TurboGUY: While not the biggest deal, I think the thick borders are a bit excessive, but I do agree that it helps to differentiate. I've changed the headers colors of the consolation bracket to white, which I believe is sufficient. Do you agree? – Pbrks (t • c) 05:37, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think this is a very fair compromise, thank you.

I have also noticed that {{8TeamBracket-Consols}} lack the "details" parameters of "{{8TeamBracket-with third-fifth-seventh-NoSeeds}}". This parameter allows for each tie to display additional information underneath such as date, time and location of the match. There is an example in the documentation of "NoSeeds". Comment. Pbrks! You're gonna delete my template and you didn't tell me anything about it. (I am the author of the template {{8TeamBracket-with third-fifth-seventh}}.) I don't like your rounds abbreviations. First round as "RD3"? What a nonsense! It's much more logical in my template: first round as "QF", second round as "SF", etc. So change those labels (for example from RD1 to RD7 if you prefer RDs) and I'll agree with the deletion. Maiō T. Comment @Pbrks: Hi. Please take a look at the use of the template on Beach soccer at the 2019 World Beach Games – Qualification (CONCACAF) for an example of where it is currently not working properly after consolidating the old templates. 1) The scores of the seventh and third place matches will not display. 2) The details for the fifth place match will not display. 3) The details for the final are incorrectly displaying above the tie rather than below it like all other ties.
