This Six-million pool is for predicting the date at which the number of articles (as defined by the official article count presented on the Special:Statistics) in the English Wikipedia reaches 6,000,000 (six million). The person who comes closest to the actual date is the winner (of eternal fame). The current number of articles in the English Wikipedia is 6,819,490.

This pool closed for entries when the English Wikipedia article count reached 4,800,000 (on March 29, 2015). Perhaps try the WP:Nine-million pool or a higher pool. Current level: 113.66% of 6M goal (live). This Six-million pool opened on 26 September 2009, shortly after the three-millionth article was created.

This pool is closed. Any further votes will be reverted. 6M reached on 2020 January 23. Winner of the pool: User:Mercurywoodrose.
