Wikipedia:McGill Poetry Matters: Editing on Wikipedia: January 2021

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Please join Poetry Matters this coming Wednesday, January 13, 6:30-7:45pm (ET), for a virtual seminar on editing Wikipedia entries, with a spotlight on entries for modern poets Mina Loy and E.E. Cummings.

The session offers a brief introduction to editing on Wikipedia, intended to demystify the process and prepare people to engage in editing themselves. The tour will be facilitated by Nathan Drezner, whose Fall 2020 paper on Wikipedia editorial communities is available here. Poetry Matters will contextualize with current work on representing the careers and lives of modern poets such as Cummings and Loy.
