Summary objective: To make content from the Bodleian available for use on the Wikimedia projects.
There have been two bulk uploads:
- The Curzon collection of political prints (1283 images)
- The Bodleian Maps collection (1259 images)
I have not yet completed the upload of Ephemera from last month (166 images are remaining) but I have been given a more up to date set of metadata for the already-uploaded files, so will probably re-upload the whole collection.

Summary objective: to expand, diversify and train the contributor community
The Tudor Music editathon, run with Dr Katherine Butler from the Faculty of Music, involved nine new users and two others who had previously edited but not much (1 edit and 3 edits). Among other outcomes, the event created two substantial new articles on Tudor partbooks, so I proposed a DYK hook linking them both, which appeared on the mainpage on 29th February. Participant feedback from the event is at wmuk:Tudor_Music_editathon_2016 and Dr Butler has written a blog post.
I ran a "Working with the Open Culture Movement" workshop for all ten staff at the Voltaire Foundation, which is a department of the university and also a publisher. Feedback was extremely positive and they are interested in future activity to create Wikipedia articles about Voltaire's work, and to share data with Wikidata.
The Open Knowledge Ambassador workshops have continued, but with a smaller audience (3 and 2 attendees compared to 7 for the first workshop). It appears that there is a lot of interest in learning the basics of Wikipedia and editing, not as much as I thought there would be in a more advanced course such as this.
A workshop at the John Radcliffe Hospital was cancelled due to a lack of registrations, probably because a delay in confirming the room meant that the event wasn't included in the published list of staff development events. I am in touch with staff at the hospital about a giving a short talk to raise interest.
I met with Alice Purkiss, who is a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate working on a project with the National Trust. I told her about some things happening in the Wikimedia sphere to help people engage with public spaces and artifacts- geographical tagging and searching, QRpedia, map visualisations of Wikidata including locations of art. These are different from the project she's working on but might turn out to be complementary.

Summary objective: Shape and implement policies and workflows for licensing and releasing digital media and reporting their use and impact.
Liz and I are meeting with Digital Bodleian staff in March to explain the conversion tools I've created and to discuss a sustainable process for sharing content.
