Alastair Cook is one of the best Test batsman in the history of England cricket. Zia Khan is very excited nominating this one. In fact, we have another similar list at FLC right now which "has gained substantial support and reviewers' concerns have been substantially addressed" there. Zia Khan thinks that can nominate this list. The Rambling Man is interested in improving the list, so has the co-nomination.   • I'd suggest you to remove the total runs scored, since cook is currently active in international cricket. We cannot constantly update the numbers.

  • Old Trafford links to a football ground. It should be "Old Trafford Cricket Ground".
  • His highest ODI score, no need to repeat ODI.
  • Ref for "His highest ODI score is 137 runs against Pakistan at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi in 2011", doesn't indicate that the score is highest to date in ODIs. It's just a scorecard.
  • Similarly ref #11 need not be used in the lead.
  • Has he retired from T20Is?
  • India national cricket team is linked twice in the lead.
  • Facts about him being in the list of top century-makers needs "As of" prefix per WP:DATED.
  • "Cook has scored Test centuries...", the next sentence starts with cook again.
  • Alt text for the second image needs to be a little more descriptive.
  • "No result" founds no usage outside the key.
  • There are a few items that end with a period while others do not.
  • Inn. for his fourth Test ton is 4; Inn. and Pos. needs to be corrected in #10, #18.
  • He did win a MoM award for his fifth ODI hundred, but not for the second one.
  • He was the captain when he made 119 against Sri Lanka in 2011.

  • Why is 'Key' used in the heading of the section and the caption for the table? It seems redundant. Similar featured lists do not have this. Ditto for the other tables.

            • We could check this with User:RexxS but I seem to recall that if a table directly follows a heading with no text in between, the caption is essentially made redundant. Captions are more appropriate when they're either used following a section of text or if the caption embellishes the screen reader experience (i.e. describes in more detail what's presented in the table, rather than just a repeat of the section heading).
