*Reviewing... TbhotchTalk C. 02:46, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- WP:ALT text would be added.
- The only image I have has that already
- Background and album title
- Butterfly -> maybe Butterfly (1997)
- While not having time to record an entire studio album from scratch, Carey -> already mentioned
- songs that weren't released -> not "in quotes" so...
- I don't understand
- Is the word "weren't" encyclopedic? TbhotchTalk C. 00:55, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Carey, on her disappointment in the singles chosen, during an interview with Vibe. -> Vibe.
- It is that way already
- I started my review days ago TbhotchTalk C. 00:55, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- All samples lack of fair use rationale. As copyrighted works you are not able to put it anywhere you like on Wikipedia without a proper rationale.
- Comment to talk page
- One of Carey's most inspirational ballads -> [by whom?]
- Ones was a collection of Carey's US number one hits, as well as four new songs. -> Already mentioned
- Consistency needed ( "All I Want for Christmas Is You,")
- it was the album's official remix, -> is not the song remix?
- and holds the the -> typo
- therefore earning a place on the album as well. -> POV?
- as an R&B artist -> didn't mean as an R&B artist?
- street Hip-Hop music -> Hip Hop music has not been mentioned, a link would be added
- These thirteen number one songs comprised most of the album, and were what gave the album's title, Ones, meaning. -> WP:OR?
- Nope, I wrote that myself :)
- So you must read WP:OR. If you wrote it, those are your thoughts, not other though. TbhotchTalk C. 00:55, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- her 1995 album Daydream -> I'm confused, first, overlinked, second already mentioned, and third "her 1995", in the section above it says "Carey's 1996 release"
- Moses -> who?
- Music Box -> overlinked
- Vibe -> Vibe
- We have a problem here, unlike the section above where you made a good work giving short description of the songs, you are giving two complete paragraphs of information that go onto When You Believe:We have a problem here, unlike the section above where you made a good work giving short description of the songs, you are giving two complete paragraphs of information that go onto When You Believe
- Well her old work isn't the most important here. Its the new work she featured on the album
- So why the other three songs are not balanced equal? TbhotchTalk C. 00:55, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Since TopTenReviews is a collector it should be removed from the template
- Ones was released in the same week as several other albums by high-profile musicians such as Garth Brooks, Jewel, and Method Man, as well as Whitney Houston's My Love Is Your Love. -> and Ice Cube? and why Houston's album is the only mentioned? Just because her name was written before?
- Million award.[35][34] -> Million award.[34][35]
- The album was certified five ... million copies worldwide. -> do you believe that is enough for a paragraph?
- in the US[37] To date -> typo
- only reached number twenty five on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles. -> [citation needed]
- All fixed! :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 01:03, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Well her old wrk can be read in full in her older articles. If I write only basic summaries for her new as well, there isn't going to be a place on Wikipedia were a reader can fully read up on the new stuff. The article is mainly talking about the album, and of course the old work as well, but its important to put more emphasis on the new work, as it is the first place in Wiki they are being mentioned.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 01:10, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
due to the song's cancelled commercial release -> comma the song's cancelled, commercial release
due to the song's cancelled -> [citation needed]
- Done :)--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 01:29, 10 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Despite reaching solid ... where the song reached the top-ten. -> citations needed Additional citations added
- Heartbreaker and Rainbow -> overlinked They are only mentioned once
- That's the idea, no need to link them everywhere. TbhotchTalk C. 02:58, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't think your understanding. Overlink is when you list the same article various times and link them. It is only necessary to link them once. The same applies to a term that in mentioned only once, it must be linked as well. Not linking it will result in Underlinking.--CallMeNathan • Talk2Me 03:49, 12 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
- Billboard -> Billboard - They are that way already
- When You Believe" was nominated for the Grammy..., and the Academy Award? Already mentioned in the lead
- Per lead it shoud summarize the article, the Oscar should be mentioned again.
