Hello Ztlemssani,

Thanks for your interest in Melaleuca strobophylla. There's nothing at all wrong with your edit to the article, except that sometimes links are excessive. There are many other words and phrases in the article that could be linked (eg. shrub, tree, leaves, summer in the lead paragraph alone) but adding them would compete for the reader's attention to important, less familiar words like endemic and hypanthium. I'm pretty sure most readers of the article know what a salt lake is. I do apologise for the incorrect link I added to the edit summary - it should have been MOS:OL.
