July 2014[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm McGeddon. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living person on Nigel Lindsay‎, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. McGeddon (talk) 09:31, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"maybe it would be best if all birthdate information was taken from Nigel Lindsay's page to prevent misleading and unverified claims being made" - yes, this is exactly what I did! (I see I missed the "1969 births" category, I've now removed that too.) --McGeddon (talk) 10:02, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Zhiaotan, have you ever thought that maybe Nigel Lindsay doesn't want his DOB posted all over the internet? He's in an ageist profession and whether you think you know when he was born or not because you know his "classmates" it's really none of your business. So yes, leave the birthdate information out, verified or not and edit something less intrusive. User:Matemash — Preceding undated comment added 11:39, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Viktor Obninsky) has been reviewed![edit]

Thanks for creating Viktor Obninsky.

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

This is a good start. You could expand it further, for example it does not mention that he was "a powerful member of the country's Freemason's lodge", which I see in the source I added.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Lopifalko}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .
