Removal of AFD notice.[edit]

Just so you know, you accidently removed the AFD nomation for High school subcultures. From what it looks like, you were fixing vandalism, and you took out the notice by mistake. I put it back. This is just to let you know. --Rob 19:26, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, thanks. Sorry. Yeah, looks like ESkog and I edited at about the same time, so I was editing an old copy. Thanks for restoring it. — Zazou 21:31, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Many thanks for your support on my request for adminiship, I'm sure you'll be glad to know the final result was 92/1/0. I am now an administrator and (as always) if I do anything you have issue with, please talk about it with me. --Alf melmac 10:27, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User:206.190.193.91[edit]

Hi! I saw that you issued a last warning on 206.190.193.91 (talk · contribs). He/she returned today, adding a test-like edit on Hawaii as well as contributing on an article which I speedy deleted. Has this IP went too far? Punkmorten 20:58, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would tend to say so, yes; thanks for telling me. Want to list them, or shall I? Snap, you're an admin. Now I feel stupid. ;) — Zazou 21:08, 11 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, but it was only my second day as an admin so I decided to confer with you :) Punkmorten 17:34, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RfA Thanks[edit]

Please accept my embarrassingly belated thank you for supporting my RfA, which much to my surprise passed 102/1/1, earning me minor notoriety. I am grateful for all the supportive comments, and have already started doing the things people wanted me to be able to do. And hopefully nothing else... Just zis  Guy, you know? Fair use rationale for Image:Futurama_Michelle.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Futurama_Michelle.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 15:33, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

'Highcliffe School' page proposed editing[edit]

Zazou, bit a of a first-time user here, so was unsure about how to respond to your comment about the Highcliffe School page. Sorry if this wasn't the best thing to do. With regards to what you said about the edits of the Highcliffe School page, i pretty much added what i did to that page without knowing a thing about how you were actually supposed to do it-sorry. It probably wasn't the best idea ever. Feel free to delete my edits, you know far more about how to do things on here than I do! -Josh16792 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Josh16792 (talkcontribs) 20:33, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
