Appalachian Mountains[edit]

Hi. I moved your post at Talk:Appalachian_Mountains#Planned_Edits back to the end of the page, where it originally was. This is the correct place for new sections to be placed, and where people will look for them. Also, please remember to sign any posts to Talk pages (but not other pages, like articles) by putting " ~~~~" at the end (a space and four tildes, without quotes). Thanks, and have fun! —[AlanM1(talk)]— 00:31, 22 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In general: good job at revising the two articles you worked on. I especially like the descriptive language, and explcitely, filmographic language in your changes to Holy Ghost People, because it helps communicate the film in extensive detail. One piece of advice: go back through and reread the summary from the perspective of someone who hasn't viewed the film. Ask yourself: Will they understand why the particular details from the plot are important and how they fit into a larger context? Make sure that you revise and clean up that section to better reflect the perspective of someone unfamiliar with the work (which is the case of most of our readership).

As for the changes to Highland County: I am a bit concerned that these are largely superficial ones. Does it really give readers added value if we just provide a list of the schools? What other information from sources outside the schools or the school district would help an unfamiliar reader better understand the county? What quality are they? The quality of the information would be greatly improved if you expanded the qualitative assements and/or outside opinions that reflected information included in the article. Think creatively, looking for metrics, and assessments that you would expect entities like non-profits, state and federal governments to report about the county, Sadads (talk) 02:26, 12 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Appalachians[edit]

Hey, ZackaryMullikin! I came across your comment on Talk:Appalachian Mountains and was just curious: did you abandon the planned changes? If not, could you please tell me where the content is located so that I may review it? If so, could you please leave comments regarding how you had originally planned to improve the article here? Thanks! - SweetNightmares 14:45, 20 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
