Welcome to Wikipedia! Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:57, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Tokyogirl79: Thanks! Sorry about that, Twinkle can be finicky on touchscreens. Wywyit (talk) 05:03, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • It's no problem - I'd done quite a few at once like that, so I can see the reason for concern. Long story short with this, a bunch of us are doing cleanup on a huge mass of articles created by a sockpuppet. If you have any experience with looking for sources for Indian films and want to help out, you're definitely welcome. The guy created 900+ pages, mostly on semi-obscure Indian films. We're trying to salvage what we can, even if it's just redirecting to the director's page, and PROD-ing or AfDing the rest. If you want to help out, you can find the list at Wikipedia:INDIA/Rajeshbieee. Don't feel an obligation to help out - this is going to be a mind numbing and repetitive task, especially since many of the films pre-date the Internet and will lack sourcing, as India isn't great at putting all of their news coverage on the Internet when it comes to the older stuff. Our general rule of thumb is that if it's notable then a non-sockpuppet will create it later and that it's better to redirect or delete than to keep a sockpuppet article. (sighs) Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 05:07, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Tokyogirl79: I totally agree with you, but I have no experience here. I just do tech articles currently. Anyway, I'll let you continue on working and I'll watch my revert button! :) Wywyit (talk) 05:20, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Tokyogirl79: Nice! I will be sure never to take part in any cleanup of old India movie articles. :) (jk, I would if I knew anything about them. Maybe someday I'll be "lucky" enough to help clean up articles on obscure semiconductors predating the Intel 4004!) Wywyit (talk) 16:51, 25 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Wywit, just an FYI, you actually reverted the article to the version without the AFD template and warned the editor who had reinstated it rather than the one who had removed it :) Cheers, Melcous (talk) 06:02, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Melcous: Yes, I just realized that. Template was restored and apologized. My mistake, very embarrassing. Wywyit (talk) 06:06, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
We all do such things once in a while. Happy editing. Cheers, --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 06:07, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

To say Argentina invasion is not the correct way because a country could not invade its own territory. As a disputed territory between United Kingdom and Argentina, a correct way to write this article is to say (for example) "Argentina recovered to herself the disputed islands" So, the article it's no neutral. THIS IS MY LAST ADVICE to stop undone modifying my changes in the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swiftsure-class_submarine. Otherwise I will be forced to change permanently the article.. I have lots of IP that you can't block!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.165.8.214 (talk) 02:55, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop raging. Blanking the article is not the way to get your point across. Discuss the issue on the article's talk page instead? Wywyit (talk) 03:00, 29 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

March 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —the one you made with this edit to S. Ravi (umpire)— because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:20, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I fixed the infobox and cleaned up the article. Did I do something wrong? Thanks! Wywyit (talk) 20:24, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Withdrawn per your explanation here. Clearly an honest mistake on your part. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:31, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I realize what I did now. Copied in vandalism when I fixed the infobox by using the one from a previous version of the artcle. I'll watch for that next time! Thanks for letting me know. Wywyit (talk) 20:34, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Hello Wywyit . Thank you for re fixing the info box in the article of ICC umpire Mr.S.Ravi. And sorry for you had to go through this trouble because of me as when removing highly abusive language from the article I mistakenly made the info box disappear. I am new to Wikipedia and would want help from fellows like you so could you please tell me where did I go wrong while editing and how you re fixed the info box. AnandRamrakhyani777 (talk) 20:41, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I can't really tell how you broke the infobox, I just looked over the differences. All I did was copy and paste the infobox code from a previous version of the page into the current version and then changed the entries to remove vandalism. If you do break something, usually the revert button is your best friend and then you can give it another go. There also is a "show preview" button, which will allow you to see how the article looks before you publish. Thanks! :) Wywyit (talk) 20:50, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much Wywyit !! And once you become free from devandalising the article completely could you please let me know where is that show preview button as I am not able to spot in my smartphone.. AnandRamrakhyani777 (talk) 21:03, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if it shows up in the mobile editor. Maybe try from a computer instead? Wywyit (talk) 21:08, 10 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes , it does. Thanks Wywyit.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on FIRST Steamworks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Dolan Twins[edit]

Hi! I want to translate the information about the Dolan twins in Romanian language. I need some help, because I don't know how to do that. I saw you edited the post, I think you can help me.

Thank you! Bogdan.micle99 (talk) 22:01, 1 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry Bogdan, I don't know Romanian. I just cleaned up the article for grammatical accuracy. You could try requesting the article be translated on the Romania Wikipedia or see WP:Translate us, though. Good luck! Wywyit (talk) 05:48, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
