Catahoula Leopard Dog[edit]

Per consensus on the Wikiproject Dog talk page and WP:NOT, your image is not acceptable to be placed in the CLD article. Please remember that Wikipedia is not a image gallery for your pets, and all contributions must have encyclopedic merit. As the article already has pictures of both that color and puppies, and your's is not of higher usefulness to the article it does not meet standards for inclusion. These comments sound quite negative; I think they're templates that someone is applying to even the most innocent of edits. So let me emphasize the welcome to wikipedia and explain a little better: the breed articles in Wikipedia are meant to be encyclopedic articles about the specific breed. Your photos are welcome--and Shilah (Image:Shilah.jpg) looks like a beautiful dog, but a better place to upload it is at the shared photo site, [Commons], where people can find it and use in in articles where it might be more appropriate. VanTucky problems too?[edit]

I see you had problems with User:VanTucky. I also have had problems in placing images... with him removing them almost instantly. I then got an abusive response causing me to report him. Catahoula Leopard Dog has been updated with as many photos returned as possible explaining the variety in Catahoulas. Noles1984 22:02, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
