FYI: Definition of vandalism[edit]

Vandalism is any addition, deletion, or change to content made in a deliberate attempt to reduce the quality of the encyclopedia.

You're still confused about how wikipedia works[edit]

Why did you remove the request for a citation? (Click here) Is it because you cannot come up with one, thereby quashing the weak evidence you base you assertions on? If you had at least skimmed over the wikipedia guidelines, you'd find that all perceived spurious claims ideally should be accompanied by the citation of a reliable outside source, in order to maintain the integrity of the article in which the statement subsists. Any removal of the request of such a request, is effectively a deletion that reduces the quality of the encyclopedic nature of the article. With your act, what you have done is almost consistent with the above definition: vandalism is any addition, deletion, or change to content made in a deliberate attempt to reduce the quality of the encyclopedia.

Stopping short of labeling you as a "vandal", as I'm sure it wasn't deliberate attempt (misguided, at best) once again, I implore you to furnish the guidelines once more. Also I request again that you click on the vandalism link and read it, because from the reasonings behind your reverting, you appear to be confused as to what constitutes said "vandalism".

Thank you.

I love the irony of an unsigned, random member offering me advice... :) --Wayniac 19:40, 11 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Comments to anon user[edit]

You have made some valid points in your comments to 203.214.89.155. However, given that he is somewhat combative in spirit right now, I would suggest you not hook with him. By that I mean, if you react to some of the things he says, it could escalate. Oh yes, and here's a visual of that (which includes the troll in all of us):

License tagging for Image:David Steicke Event 23, 2008 WSOP.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:David Steicke Event 23, 2008 WSOP.JPG. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:07, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou for your comments at the AFD discussion for Fledgling Jason Steed. I noted that you suggested "trimming down" the refs, which I have now done. I therefore wondered if you might take another look. Many thanks. --Beehold (talk) 16:13, 8 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
