- You cannot redirect Jesse Tafero´s wikipedia to Walter Rhodes (murderer) Walter Rhodes is proven innocent of all charges. He never murdered anyone. Nor did he have gun powder residue on his hand because he had fired a weapon, he had been shot 5 times. Thus, it is wrong information. Whoever created a wikipwdia claimin Walter Rhodes to be a murderer has to change that, because it is false. WalterRhodesJr (talk) 20:32, 21 April 2024 (UTC)
- Hello. Please read WP:Conflict of interest, as you appear to have a family connection with the subject of Walter Rhodes (murderer). If you think that the redirect should be deleted or renamed, then you can take it to WP:Redirects for discussion, but the article can't remain in the state in which you've presently left it. - I have no family connection to Walter Rhodes, I am the lead investigator in the most resent criminal investigation and a team of 36 crime specialists have found him innocent. The evidence were already there in 1976, aquitting him from any criminal misconduct during Tafero and Jacobs murders. WalterRhodesJr (talk) 06:42, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
- That's still a definite conflict of interest. Have you read WP:Conflict of interest yet? And can you see why it's a problem for an encyclopedia to have an article titled Walter Rhodes (murderer), consisting of the sentence "Walter Rhodes NEVER murdered anyone and can therefore not be refered to as a murderer", sourced only by a link to a website that's down at the moment?
- As noted above, you've also tried to change content and remove reliable sources at Jesse Tafero, which clearly state that Rhodes confessed to the murder, recanted, then reverted to his original testimony. On Wikipedia, we need to WP:Verify everything we write, especially about contentious topics like this, with WP:Reliable sources.
- I have no opinion on Rhodes' innocence or guilt in the matter. But if you want to continue to edit about the topic, you must stick to Wikipedia's guidelines. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 07:27, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
