February 2016[edit]

Hello, I'm Donner60. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Charles William Carrico, Sr. seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Donner60 (talk) 03:32, 21 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am striking the above message not because I have reconsidered my revert of your additions to the article or the contents of the message, but because your message indicates you acted in good faith. So it does not stand against you. Nonetheless, you have in fact acknowledged that your intention was to turn the article into an advocacy piece for your opposition to the person as it seemed to me from the content, wording and lack of balance. Please see Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion, especially the first two numbered points. Such content and approach are contrary to Wikipedia guidelines. I did not acknowledge it was for advocacy piece for opposition to the person. It was for information to the person. My personal opinion of Senator Carrico is irrelevant. I did not post opinions nor advocate any action by taken against him as a result of his actions as a senator. I provided information to his actions which were left out of the page and the reactions of his colleagues. I see nothing that I did was against the guidelines and certainly nothing to strike the entire page.
