October 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. McGeddon (talk) 18:26, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to New Haven, Connecticut. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.--McGeddon (talk) 18:32, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Today (NBC program). It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --McGeddon (talk) 18:35, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of GiggleBarn.biz[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article GiggleBarn.biz, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No sources indicating anything written is true, and even if it were: it's not notable nor encyclopaedic.

- The website itself appears to be three images of girls breasts or arses (two of which are repeated). Most likely this site is someone's personal website masquerading as being associated with CollegeHumour.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
