{{tl}} and {{tlu}} are not interchangeable[edit]

Please be aware there is a difference between {{tl}} and {{tlu}}. You used {{tlu}} to link to a user box in template namespace. However, this is incorrect. You should have used {{tl}}. {{tlu}} is for templates in the user namespace like {{User:Will Pittenger/User Boxes/WCIC}}.

BTW: You may wish to read WP:UM before you create more user boxes. We are moving where user boxes go from the template namespace to the User namespace. The strictest requirements are for those boxes that provide no encyclopedic information at all. User boxes that do provide that at least somewhat are those that say things like "This user is an admin". Boxes that express opinions fail this in my book.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:The Mysterious Flame of Queen Loana.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 02:16, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of category from your userpage[edit]

Hi. In enacting consensus from User categories for discussion, I have removed the category Category:Wikipedians interested in books from your userpage. It was determined in that deletion debate that this category should be depopulated of individuals, but kept as a parent category. If you wish to display a category reflecting your interest in books, please consider one of the specific sub-categories under its umbrella. Thanks, and please excuse the necessary editing of your user page! ----Moonriddengirl (talk) 16:41, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Kenji.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Kenji.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 07:45, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
