Basketball jerseys[edit]

The things you've done look great! Keep up the good work. Rolando 00:08, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for responding on my talk page. Please do not hesitate to move the {{Basketball kit}} to the italian Wikipedia; so far it has only made its way to Tagalog! Rolando 16:54, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I cannot read Italian, but I did find the Italian equivalent football kit at Squadra calcistica. The syntax looks tricky, but the mechanism of {{Basketball kit}} is pretty straightforward. You may be able to use the same technique with that template.
I stole the syntax from the football kit, removed the arms and socks, and then used the {{Superimpose}} template to put a basketball jersey shape over the football jersey--a sort of "window." For example, Barcelona's football and basketball kits are essentially the same, but the basketball one has a basketball-jersey-shaped "window."

I do not mean to put pressure on you to move this to Italian. It just might be a fun thing to do! Rolando 15:35, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there The addition of the uniform to Italian looks great--I think your move may have caused someone to add it to Spanish, too ({{es:Template:Uniforme de Baloncesto}}). I just wanted to let you know that I found the following page that explains how to move images to Wikimedia commons. I thought it might be helpful. Rolando 14:03, 17 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

Who doesn't exist, Reiner Hasan or Domenico "Salvatore" Lammardo, or both? Tyrenius (talk) 14:43, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Not knowledgeable enough myself to delete it as vandalism hoax, so I've nom'd at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Reiner Hasan. You might like to contribute there. You can nominate articles by following the instructions at Wikipedia:AFD#How_to_list_pages_for_deletion. See also Wikipedia:Deletion_policy and Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion. Tyrenius (talk) 15:49, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You need to put *'''Delete''' at the start of your post on the AFD to give:

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Uck logo.gif)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Uck logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:56, 25 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean? Where I've put a date? I don't remember TøW€®MªN ™ answer me 13:57, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, wrong editor. Disregard this comment. Dabomb87 (talk) 15:02, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your message. Your edit is inconsistent in layout with previous seasons that I helped to edit. I am also not keen on the appearance of the new style you have brought forward. What were your reasons for the edit? Uni red (talk) 19:42, 02 December 2010 (GMT)

I see your points about the new style. I just prefer the old style as all the information can be seen at a glance, e.g. trends can be seen easier. Not sure how a vote would work but as long as the page is kept up to date I don't mind too much Uni red (talk) 01:55, 08 December 2010 (GMT)
Also, when I first made the pages they were based on the Manchester United seasons, which still my style. If we are to stay with your style what other information should go in each match? I have seen a few clubs detailing yellow and red cards and some showing substitutes. I don't think the subs are relevant but the cards may be. Thoughts? Uni red (talk) 01:55, 08 December 2010 (GMT)
Yeah, I was looking at the Arsenal one too. I like the look of it and have become accustomed to your style. Also In the Player Stats table I used to put appearances as 8+4 for example meaning 8 starts and 4 subs but it got changed to simply 12. What do you think about the 8+4 style? Keep in touch with any major edits you do, its good to know someone else cares about the page. Uni red (talk) 16:45 09 December 2010 (GMT)
Ok well the substitutes thing isn't incredibly important. Yeah the yellow cards look great. I'll help do some soon to get them done. Also I'll get updating the Summary paragraph just before the results. Uni red (talk) 19:41 12 December 2010 (GMT)
Could you reword your last message please? I don't quite understand what you mean Uni red (talk) 18:47 13 December 2010 (GMT)

Oh yes I see what you mean. So the time of the incident is towards the centre of the box. Yes its looks a lot better, I like it. What do you think about a table showing the information on how long the players have been at the club, and their contract length etc. ? I have started working on one just for my own personal research but what do you think about it adding value to the page? Uni red (talk) 20:50 13 December 2010 (GMT)

Its taking me longer than I thought to get round to making a sandbox for the squad information table! But I will get round to it. Also what is your position on the past seasons of Forest? Are you able to help add information to them at all? Uni red (talk) 22:04 22 December 2010 (GMT)
Hey, I've done all the pre-season friendlies from 2009-10 in sandbox. Uni red (talk) 18:24 01 January 2011 (GMT)

Disambiguation link notification for November 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013–14 Nottingham Forest F.C. season, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Simon Cox (footballer) and Kevin Wilson (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
