Your WP:RFPP request

Sorry - at the moment there isn't enough activity to justify your request...I'm monitoring the situation, though. GbT/c 20:50, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

Vandals

Can I ask you to look into these IP's:

92.0.9.135

82.36.253.23

92.21.143.173

They are vandalising a page on Wikipedia. This one in partiuclar: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perdita_Hyde-Sinclair —Preceding unsigned comment added by Moonshank (talkcontribs) 17:11, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Jimmy Wales?

Just seen this edit and wanted to advise you that it's probably not a sensible idea to impersonate Jimmy Wales. Thanks TheRetroGuy (talk) 22:31, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Impersonate him? I'm quoting him - note the quotation marks - from here Wikipedia:Verifiability#Burden of evidence, which in turn quotes from this. I'll admit that forgetting to sign my comment didn't help, but do you really think anyone with my quantity of edits would be stupid enough to try an impersonate someone else?. Mannafredo (talk) 09:02, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
See here now. Regards, Mannafredo (talk) 09:29, 13 November 2008 (UTC)
No worries. FYI I was actually the anon ip here (I got timed out and didn't realise until after I'd made the post). Glad everything's sorted out. Cheers TheRetroGuy (talk) 20:16, 13 November 2008 (UTC)

Royal National College for the Blind

Thanks. Would like to get it up to GA status if possible. By the way thanks for finding that Prince Charles reference. Paul Largo (talk) 11:56, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Jenny Agutter

Trouble is sprouting up again on this article. I've placed a request on the talk page for the article not to be changed any further without discussing the points under dispute first. Since you were involved in this first time around it would be good to get a canvass of opinion. Thanks. 80.41.57.126 (talk) 19:16, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Not getting involved in the discussion this time as I was happy with the resolution that was reached by PaulLargo, but I may request protection if the edit warring gets out of hand. TheRetroGuy (talk) 20:36, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

TheRetroGuy

Sorry but I think that it is useful to have an information about Abigail Kis there, if there can be the information about Michelle Stephenson! And why do I delete the birth dates? Because in this article it is mentioned twice... under the picture of Emma Bunton and in the first sentence of the article! Does it have to be there twice? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.47.71.64 (talk) 19:34, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Dates of birth do generally appear twice, and Abigail Kis is not notable. TheRetroGuy (talk) 19:47, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

OK, sorry, I won`t do it next time... I only wanted to make it 100% complete and I wanted to try editing the articles in Wikipedia. I have saved this articles about Spice Girls and about Emma, Geri, Victoria, Melanie C and Melanie B to my computer and I have edited it as I wanted to. So, maybe you can write a brand new article about Abigail Kis and Lianne Morgan, because I have no information about them and I would like to have some. So, SORRY for making you angry :-D —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.47.71.64 (talk) 19:59, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

Hey I'm not angry so apologies if you got that impression, I'm just trying to be a conscientious Wikipedian really. Anyway I'm glad we've finally been able sort things out. Articles have been created about Lianne Morgan, Abigail Kis and one or two others who were either in the band or auditioned for it (see this talk page and this discussion), but I'm afraid they don't meet our notability guidelines for articles. There are plenty of other people and subjects needing articles writing about them though, so feel free to create an account and have a look through our tutorials, etc. To get you started, here's a welcome message with a few links that should help you to find your way around.

Wikibreak

Just a quick note to expand on the above information regarding my Wikibreak. Though I'm officially on Wikibreak, I have been around for a while on Christmas Eve, and may be briefly around on Christmas Day morning and possibly early Boxing Day. But after that I will be away from my system until after the New Year. Thanks TheRetroGuy (talk) 16:15, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
