Hi. Since I have gotten in contact with someone of your support team o have learned that I shouldn’t be trying to promote my band with a Wikipedia page because of my direct involvement with the group. I would like to be unblocked because I have learned that trying to use your website as a promotional tool is wrong and I should wait till someone else makes the page for us. Can we do this? Say in 6 months? I saw your decline on that one. In any event, I think waiting 6 months and then requesting the WP:SO would be best. I wouldn't be opposed to an unblock under WP:SO. Given they engaged in block evasion in order to continue promoting the band, I'd suggest a topic ban around that. If the user agrees to a topic ban, I wouldn't be opposed to an unblock sooner than the standard six months. --Yamla (talk) 23:16, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

Unblocking

I do not plan to use this account anymore if I get unblocked. I plan to use my other account that goes under my name. What I intended to add and edit if I get unblocked is things about other bands, musicians, and instruments. TheogThotPatrol (talk) 12:24, 4 September 2018 (UTC)

I can agree with the 6 months as it seems reasonable considering what I did. I plan to make edits to pages of albums/artists correcting and adding release dates, recording dates, and other info about said artist/album that isn’t available on the website.
