Regarding Ruth White, she declared that Abdu'l-Baha's Will and Testament must have been a fake because she felt that He would never institute a "papacy", which apparently is what she felt that the Guardianship constituted. Her doubts, however, were shown to be unfounded, but her persistence in denying the Will and Testament and the Guardianship and her attempts to divide the Baha'i community in the wake of the ascension of Abdu'l-Baha lead to her having to be expelled as a covenant-breaker.
I hope this has helped, it is a sad topic indeed but a part of our history nonetheless. Peter Deer (talk) 15:47, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
