Welcome![edit]

Hello, TacticalHam, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Feedback request[edit]

I got your message and took a look at your sandbox. Please make sure to refer to the Editing Wikipedia handout as your draft develops (you should have gotten one from your instructor, but I have linked to a copy of it here). Since you're writing about a person, you might also want to take a look at the Biographies handout. Also remember that every statement in your article needs to be tied to a reliable source; this is especially important when you're writing about living people. It's always a good idea to add sources as you write - that way you always know where any bit of information came from.
