In my defense, the article showed absolutely no indication of why he was notable, and a Google search reveals little besides that he's a shipbuilder. Most of the results were just "he managed a famous shipyard, now let's talk about the shipyard." I suppose he would be well-known enough in NZ to be considered notable, though. Hello, how was Zoticus of Comana martyred by Constantius II when Constantinople hadn't been founded yet by 204AD? The Zoticus who died under Constantius II was a great saint known as Saint Zoticus of Constantinople or Martyr Zoticus the Keeper of Orphans. I don't care how notable he is, if you can't find any reliable secondary sources then the article will never get past a start-class and there's little point making it. Yes, every actor has a link to IMDb. But IMDb is used as an external link, not as a citation, because citations contribute information to the article (and so we only use reliable sources to avoid introducing incorrect information), while external links leave the interpretation of the material in the site up to the user. Also, that Amazon link isn't very helpful: it's just a (not necessarily comprehensive) list of movies the guy has been in. Amazon is infamous for leaving out significant movies in its lists. Besides, where would you find a citation for something like his life outside of movies? I can't find any. I understand that you believe that famous = article, but there are many other factors that determine if something should have an article. I also suggest reading WP:WHYN, because here we define notability a little different than just being famous. Also, please sign your posts. TL | The Legend ^talk 00:51, 20 February 2022 (UTC)

Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions... so yeah, he meets WP:N quite easily. I'm sure i could create the page and no one would delete it because there are all sorts of credits for this guy. But I try to go and request his page creation and my request is deleted.
