Reply re Extremedb[edit]

I am sorry but this has already undergone multiple discussions, first at WP:AFD, and more recently at WP:DRV, at page Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2010 October 13. The deletion was endorsed. -- Cirt (talk) 04:21, 23 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Username concern[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username (Svpcom) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it Svpcom may stand for "Senior Vice President Communications", likely related to company the user is advocating for, namely, Extremedb. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. -- Cirt (talk) 22:48, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors; and
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

Re: Possible conflict of interest at article EXtremeDB[edit]

I am not a "senior vp" of anything and I do not have a conflict. Let me restate: I do not have a conflict. My username happens to be based on my initials. If you have evidence, other than the fact that I disagree with you, that I have a conflict of interest, please bring it forward. Otherwise you are making groundless accusation.

Your accusation of my having a conflict is incorrect and unsubstantiated. Since I do not have a conflict, there is no reason for me to change my username.

Please address the substance of my request that discussion on the EXtremeDB article should be resumed.
