A tag has been placed on Why does everyone use wikipedia, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

Notice

The article Bhai (honorific) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

See WP:NAD

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Bhai (honorific) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Bhai (honorific), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 16:29, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Pronotacantha armata[edit]

Hello, Superdoggo. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Pronotacantha armata".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

CS1 error on Abuta dwyerana[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Abuta dwyerana, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 13:08, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please slow down[edit]

You have created several articles in mainspace without species boxes, references, formatting or wikilinks. At best they should be drafts, but you should try to write at least one properly before you continue mass production. I've moved a couple to draft space and tidied up a bit, but they still lack species boxes and references Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:31, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Abuta chiapasensis moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Abuta chiapasensis. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because It is attributing itself to Wikipedia and has Manual of Style issues. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Zippybonzo | talk | contribs (he|she|they) 14:24, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Large number of Abuta articles have been moved to draftspace[edit]

Thanks for your contributions. Unfortunately, I've removed a large number of your draft articles to the draft space as I do not think they are ready for publishing at this time because they need more sources to establish notability or they have no sources or they have used Wikipedia as a their only source. I have converted your articles to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. microbiologyMarcus (petri dish·growths) 15:00, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

To underscore this a little more - these drafts are not suitable for mainspace. Neither is something like the version of Abuta bullata that you chose to dump there. Have a look at the article's present form; this is what a new species article should look like. Please don't expect everyone to clean up undersourced or unstructured stubs, because that only works as long as everyone puts in a certain minimum effort. --Elmidae (talk · contribs) 17:04, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiarism and close paraphrasing[edit]

There was a problem with the article you created, Abuta fluminum. The information you added about tamarins was copied from this National Geographic article. Specifically, "Tamarins eat the fruit of more than 833 plants from 167 different species." You did then add a comma and spliced in information from elsewhere in the article, but at best that is WP:Close paraphrasing, but since it was not cited it was clearly WP:Plagiarism. Please read about the topics at the linked pages if you are not familiar, but the Wikipedia project has to take this very seriously both for ethical reasons and because if WP:Copyright violations are not dealt with they would open up the project to legal problems. Please avoid this error in the future. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 20:16, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
