Recent edit to Roy Cropper[edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Roy Cropper, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! —OluwaCurtis »» (talk to me) 22:21, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Eden Thirkfield Home, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! clpo13(talk) 22:50, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Using proposed deletion effectively[edit]

Thank you for your interest in improving Wikipedia by proposing Bangladesh Railway Govt. High School, Brahmanbaria for deletion. "Does not comply with wikipedias' rules" is something that could be said to a greater or lesser extent about the vast majority of articles in Wikipedia. It is a reason to improve articles. The valid reasons for deletion are much more limited.

In general you will find it unproductive to propose the deletion of articles created by experienced and active contributors, as such proposals will almost certainly be controversial. The original author can be expected to oppose the deletion and will simply remove the PROD template. An article may only be proposed for deletion once, so if you propose deletion for a weak reason and the PROD gets removed, you've queered the pitch for anyone who might later wish to propose deletion of the article for a more compelling reason. Also note that per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES, articles about high schools and above are almost never deleted, no matter how bad they are, if an independent source (such as http://en.banglapedia.org/index.php?title=Brahmanbaria_District) can be found proving the school exists.

If you do propose an article for deletion, be sure to notify the author at their talk page with {{subst:proposed deletion notify|User talk:Supercunnin|concern=}} ~~~~. It's bad form not to. Also add {{Old prod full}} with the appropriate parameters to the article's talk page. Thanks, Worldbruce (talk) 21:32, 23 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Joshua's Number[edit]

When I wrote the article Joshua's Number, I made it about a number that I made up. Please don't think it does not exist! Jjp2008 (talk) 16:39, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

your speedy on Cody harper[edit]

I changed your speedy to a G10. Please review WP:SPEEDY. That article is clearly not eligible for deletion as "incoherent text or gibberish." However, It is an attack page and I have put it up for deletion as G10 (a much more serious deletion criterion). Meters (talk) 20:54, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I already created the links for you with the standard format for initials according to Wikipedia's Manual of Style, so I really don't know why you had to create the author's article using different formatting and then change the links! Please see WP:INITS. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 21:10, 29 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A little help?[edit]

I need someone to tell me how to 'end' a box. Not a userbox, a normal box. Help is appreciated. I know you start with {{boxtop}} but not how to create the bottom. Sorry I didn't know how to word this... Thanks. 🐱.🐱 21:07, 6 December 2015 (UTC)

If you are using the {{boxtop}} template than you can use the {{boxbottom}} template. Hope I answered your question, Ethan. Eteethan(talk) 21:16, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
In addition, there's more documentation at {{boxtop}}. clpo13(talk) 21:43, 6 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Supercunnin, I see you've just got into curating articles :) you left me a notice stating you un-reviewed Samcms. I hope you're aware that the article should be marked as curated as I have tagged it for speedy deletion. Could you please give your rationale as to why the article should be left un-reviewed? -- samtar whisper 15:44, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

For ease of conversation, please reply below and indent by using : - when marking an article as requiring speedy deletion (as I did to Samcms), pages should be marked as patrolled. I would recommend re-reading the Page Curation Guidelines before continuing to review pages. Thanks -- samtar whisper 15:49, 7 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, sorry. I simply felt the page should be patrolled again, apologies for the error.

The disambiguation page at Bill Clinton presidential campaign is no different than the other Presidential disambiguation pages and how in the world is it the same as Bill Clinton itself? You could at least argue it's the same as the campaigns. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 19:05, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Quick note[edit]

If you haven't permanently retired, please note that the page "Joshua's number" has been restored and moved to a user subpage of mine. JJP...MASTER![talk to] JJP... master? 16:14, 7 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
